To assist your spiritual development the presbytery’s Spiritual Development Team offers these resources:

Lectio Divina –  a devotional and meditative engagement with Scripture led by the staff of the presbytery office, 10:00 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Cherokee Retreat Center.  The time includes centering prayer, sharing of joys and concerns, and listening to the Spirit.  For more information on Lectio Divina visit

The labyrinth – also available at the Cherokee Retreat Center for use at any time is a labyrinth.  Over the centuries people have found that walking the labyrinth focusing purposefully on God dulls the noise of the world and opens the possibility of hearing God’s voice.  For more information on the labyrinth as a tool of spiritual growth visit
