Hello friends!
There are several news items I want to share with you today, but before I do
that, I also need YOUR VIEWS. At the last Presbytery meeting, we put out a
survey to get feedback on our communication efforts and to discover how you
most want to receive communications from the Presbytery. If you have not
yet completed the survey, please click on the link below, fill out the form
and then send it (via US Mail, fax, or email) as soon as possible. And
thank you for helping us serve you better.
And now… on to the NEWS
Mission Giving Resource Packet Coming in September
This September, your Sessions will be hearing from Cherokee Presbytery and
from the General Assembly Mission Council regarding the mission work that we
do beyond the local congregation. Each session will be invited to consider
how they might share in those efforts. Please be in prayer about the ways
God would have you and your congregations participate in the work the Spirit
is doing all around the world.
New Blog for Rebecca
Rebecca’s Blog will soon no longer come to you via MailChimp as it has for
the last year. While MailChimp is a wonderful email marketing tool (which
we will use for other things), it does not allow for your comments to be
shared with everyone… and many of you are making WONDERFUL comments that
deserve to be shared with the entire group!
So… if you’d like to continue to receive my blog, you will need to go to
http://rebeccabwell.wordpress.com/ and sign up. When you do, you will
receive my blog entries via your email, AND you can then post comments that
will allow us all to benefit from your thoughts and reflections.
