Ministries
We are called to unity as a holy expression of God’s intention for the world. In unity, God sends and equips us for his mission in this world.
Currently, God has called Cherokee Presbytery to unity through mission and ministry in the following ways:
Campus Ministry
Promoting, Supporting, Connecting, and Expanding Christian ministry in institutions of higher education within the bounds of Cherokee Presbytery, in cooperation with The Tri-Presbytery Commission for Campus Ministry.
New Church Development (NCD)
The only tri-presbytery commission for new church development in the country.
Presbyterian Women (PW)
Presbyterian Women offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. Any group of women who enjoys mission, Bible study or advocacy could become a PW group. Find out how to start or revitalize a group in your church.
Required Committees
In accordance with the Book of Order, Cherokee Presbytery has five constitutionally required committees, each of which serve vitally important roles in the life of our Presbytery.
Cherokee Retreat Center
Cherokee Presbytery’s very own 100 acre wood, nestled on beautiful Lake Allatoona shoreline provides the perfect setting for all your church retreats, family reunions, business meetings and year round denominational programing.
