Happy 4th of July!

From all of us in the Presbytery Office, please have a safe and Happy 4th of July Holiday.
May we always remember that our freedom and strength ultimately and always come from our sovereign God, that we are called to be a holy people, active in good works, recognizing the needs of our world are great and with the material blessings that we have, we are to share – with outrageous generosity – with those in our world who are hungry and hurting. May we be like Jesus, strong but compassionate, helpful and humble, powerful, but a servant. And may we never be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, nor sharing it in our lives and words, so that all the world will know the freedom, the strength, and the peace that can only come through Jesus Christ.
As we celebrate our earthly freedom, make us mindful O’ God, of your grace, and help us to be graceful witnesses to our world. Amen.
